Happy Thanks Taking

11-28-24

Why are we only thankful on one day of the year? So, I say "no thank you" this year. I will be just as thankful as every day. No more, no less. Every day is a blessing.

Besides, why would I want to celebrate the tricks played on the Native Americans? Befriend them to take everything from them. Sounds similar to hip hop, doesn't it?

And the bird you eat as a tradition is named after the country of the same name. The turkey eaten is a western symbol to celebrate the fall of the Ottoman Empire. So, I think I'm gonna eat this nice roast instead. Beef of course, no pork thanks. And pair it with a lil' bit of this blueberry wine and sake. Cheers and GOD Bless.

Update: Put the roast back in, let it sit, and just sliced it open. Done just right. I don't like it bloody. Still tender, but got a nice crust on the outside. Simple, but good.

Just chillin' by myself. Waitin' for my Mom to get off work, so we can eat. Listening to some good jams, as usual. Sippin' a lil somethin. Shit, wish I had a blunt. Kinda ran out... oh well.
