The homie Rizzy Life just put out his album Black Cartel a few days ago. He hit me up today just seein' how things are goin', and lettin' me know the album is finally out. So, of course I went to check it out, and what can I say. It's even better than I thought. The intro song was good, so I knew it was off to a good start. Then the second song was good, then the third. Next thing you know, I'd listened to the entire album so skips. Now it's rare I can do that, especially nowdays.
I told him good beat selection, solid lyrics, and that every song is different, yet the project flows nicely together.
Good concepts, good flow and delivery, and unique style enough to be his own, but still bring an oldschool and classic east coast New York vibe. Only downside, I wanted to hear more. That's a good thing tho, because I already wanna replay it. No lie, this album is crazy. Overall I'd say its a 4.8/5
